Free 9-month (36-week) vocational training program teaching clinical and administrative skills for medical assistants, including CPR/BLS certification, billing and coding, medical terminology, clinical procedures, phlebotomy instruction, Medisoft software training, and a 120-hour externship.

- Must possess a valid Social Security Card
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED or pass the Ability to Benefit Test
- Must provide proof of income eligibility
- Must commit to externship and job placement requirements
- Proof of identification/legal status (California Driver License, California ID Card, US Passport, US Resident Card, US Valid Visa, or US Work Permit)
- Social Security Card
- High School Diploma or GED (translated and notarized if issued outside the U.S.) or Ability to Benefit Test
- Income verification (last 3 months) from self, parent/guardian, spouse, partner, or agency
- Agency monetary award letter or CalWORKS/PAES individual referral with Release of Information Form from Dept. of Human Services SF
