Requirements

• new patients accepted
• Must be a licensed or legally license-exempt child care program serving children birth through school age
• Must be an early childhood educator, child care provider, center director, or program leader
• Start-Up Grants only for programs licensed less than six months
• Parent Aware Grants only for participating Parent Aware programs
• Regional Grants open September 1–25 annually to actively serving licensed or legally license-exempt programs
• Proof of Minnesota Department of Human Services or Tribal Government child care license or legal license-exempt status
• No current licensing violations (e.g., suspension, revocation, maltreatment determination)
