Westside Crisis

Provides culturally competent crisis and urgent care services to San Francisco adults (18 years or older). A voluntary, drop-in service open to any adult in need of emergency psychiatric care, designed to stabilize low-income residents in a mental health crisis and refer for follow-up treatment.

Provides outpatient mental health services with an emphasis on case management. Follows a harm reduction approach, delivering services sensitive to individual lifestyle and behavioral choices, addressing cultural differences and a wide spectrum of mental health concerns. Treatment goals include preventing unnecessary crisis visits and hospitalizations and promoting the highest level of independence.

Provides a holistic approach to treatment for underserved communities impacted by socio-economic factors, focusing on African American families, teens, ADHD/ADD, child and adolescent psychiatry, and family-focused crisis intervention.

Serves African American families in low-income communities with mental illness or impacted by racism. Focused on Afrocentric evidence-based treatments to build strong families through leadership skill development and community responsibility.

Focuses on developing mental health habits—including coping, resilience, and good judgment—to help adolescents achieve overall well-being and set the stage for positive mental health in adulthood, addressing disorders such as depression and acting-out conditions.
